The children enjoyed going for a walk into town to see the Christmas tree. Imagine their delight when they met the Wadworth horses complete with reindeer antlers!
 On 16 February 2019 in St Mary's, Devizes Lions will be holding a Charity Concert featuring the Ynysowen Male Choir that was formed in the wake of the Aberfan disaster as a way of saying thank you to the world for the support it had shown Aberfan in its darkest hour through song.
This 30 strong choir has performed at various venues across the UK and abroad, from churches to village halls, concert halls to marquees they have sung for small crowds and thousands of people. The event is supported by performers from local schools. Promoted by Devizes Lions as they work to support the Devizes Opportunity Centre who provide a world of opportunities for children with special needs and their families through high quality Early Years Education, therapeutic care and ongoing support. Tickets £12 in advance from Devizes Lions, 23 The Clock Inn Park, Lydeway, Devizes SN10 3PP or £15 on the door.  The children have enjoyed role playing Doctors and Nurses. The Centre will close on Tuesday 24th July 2018 and re-open on Monday 4th September 2018
